With our extensive investment in parts, drives and test equipment we have the facilities and the experience to service servo motors to the highest standards. A dedicated permanent magnet facility with magnetising and demagnetising equipment is backed by our extensive library of motor feedback configurations and alignment data.

We provide specialist repair services for a wide range of electronic equipment including motherboards, process control equipment, temperature controllers, solid-state switches, level controllers, counters and message displays and servo drives. We repair all types of power supplies including linear, switch mode, regulated, and open loop designs. We cover specialist industrial monitors including touch screens, multi sync, dumb terminals, intelligent monitors and operator interface HMIs.

George Platt excels in the one-off repair of PCBs for which little or no information is available.

George Platt is partnered with Control Techniques, a world-leader in drive technology. We keep the standard range of Commander SE AC inverters in stock, along with a range of small power DC controllers. Larger power drives are available on the same day or for next day delivery. All our CT drives are backed by full support and commissioning services.

For many years George Platt has been involved in the manufacture of control panels, from small motor control panels to large complex suites of panels incorporating drives, PLCs and associated automation equipment. We provide system design from concept, modernization and refurbishment and turnkey solutions

We support inverters from over 20 different manufacturers and offer both in-house and on-site fault finding services. In-house we undertake full testing and repair to component level of all drive systems including DC controllers and AC inverters. On-site we offer a comprehensive range of services including fault finding, diagnosis and repair, so that we can get your control system back into operation as quickly as possible.
